PERSONAL BACKGROUND & THINGS I LOVE ABOUT COACHING:
My name is Judy, I’m 32 years old, and I live in Düsseldorf, Germany. I hold a degree in Art History and English Literature, and when I first joined ERF, I was working in arts education. I’m deeply passionate about education, learning, and personal growth, which is why transitioning into coaching felt like a natural progression for me. Coaching allows me to empower others, which is what I love most about my job. I find great joy in watching people learn, succeed, grow, and overcome their challenges and self-limiting beliefs. I also strongly believe in the power of community and support, and that’s what ERF represents to me. Real connections and authentic love are hard to find, and I’ve found them here.
TIME WITH ERF:
Joined CH April 2022, started working for ERF around August 2023
AREAS OF EXPERTISE/COACHING FOCUS:
I believe health and fitness are about more than just eating well and working out. I’ve witnessed how many aspects of fitness translate into other areas of people’s lives, changing them in profound ways. That’s why mindset, mental health, and treating fitness as a form of self-love are central to my coaching approach.
PROUDEST MOMENTS/PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
There isn’t one single ‘proudest moment’ in my journey. Rather, it’s an ongoing process of showing up for myself every day that makes me proud. Over the past three years, I’ve experienced a great deal of loss and grief, and there were many times when I wanted to stop fighting for myself. Yet, I kept going. I continue to push myself to learn and grow, while also learning to allow myself to grieve, accept help, and even ask for it. That, I believe, is my greatest accomplishment, and I am proud of myself for it. Oh, and I can bench 135 for reps!
HOBBIES:
There’s more to life than the gym?! Just kidding! I still have a deep love for art and enjoy visiting museums often. I also love taking short trips to visit friends and family. Being outdoors is important to me too, whether it’s walking through the woods or by the river. And I’m a total sucker for zoos!!
