Coach Linda

On my team, I have a bad a** assistant coach.

Her name is Linda. The reason Linda is on our team is because I trust her just as much as I trust myself in order to get people like you kick a** progress.

The reason I trust Linda so much is because she was actually a client of mine for 2.5 years and has made a massive transformation in her life through fitness.

So much so, that this is literally what she does for a living now!

Linda is a coach under the Eric Roberts Fitness brand. She takes on her own clients and get’s them kick a** results!

I can link some more information about the Great Linda here below!

Linda’s Bio

I’m Linda. Born in Denmark (She has a really cool accent too!) and raised in Scotland before moving to Virginia shortly after graduating college.

Wife to my long-suffering husband and proud mother of two girls who I would like to pretend are still 8 and 4 years old but are now apparently adults.  I’d like to stop right there but that wouldn’t give you much inspiration at all.

Before meeting Eric I was on the merry-go-round of losing weight to gain weight to lose weight just to do it all again.

Let’s just say from the time I was a teenager, about 35 years of doing that sh*t! The planets must have decided to align (or collide depending on how you look at it) and Eric took me down the path of weight training and nutrition while nurturing my passion to be relentless in helping others on their own journey to better health.

I’m equal parts stubborn to determined and LOVE challenging myself especially when I’m terrified even if I epically fail.

I want everyone I meet and coach to learn how to appreciate and understand how utterly badass they are while building a better relationship with fitness and food.

Triathlete (only the baby ones – don’t get impressed! Ok get a little impressed – I’m a terrible swimmer and didn’t drown-SCORE!)

5Ks, 10K, 10 Milers, Half Marathons (each taught me something – the main thing being they’re not marathons – see below)

Marathoner (almost killed me)

Ultra Ragnar Finisher (2 day, 200 mile relay race with 5 other idiots…body still hurts thinking about this)

Horse Show Competitor (first and only haha – was so terrified in the show ring I wanted to vomit – had fun though and got a ribbon for riding around while playing The Lion Sleeps Tonight on the recorder. True story)

4th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor in Taekwondo (only took 13 years, 5 broken bones, numerous competitions where I got kicked in the head several times, too many bruises to count and an incredible Master Instructor with the patience of a saint)

PN1 Certified Nutrition Coach (Eric totally geeked me out on learning more about nutrition and cannot thank him enough)

GGS Certified Woman’s Coaching Specialist (because I struggled for so many years and I wanted to help other women realize exactly just how strong and amazing they are)

ERF Health and Nutrition Coach (completely humbled, incredibly blessed, and forever grateful for the opportunity)

Linda has also been on my client multiple times with just her as well as her clients (client success stories below).

“I went into ERF’s 1:1 coaching thinking it would skyrocket my weight loss and lifting ability, but what I got out of it was so much more. Meeting Coach Linda has truly changed my life. I have worked with other coaches in the past, but never felt a connection. With Linda, I not only gained an amazing coach; but also a true friend and ally. My journey has been more about repairing my mental health and finding my own self-worth throughout all areas of my life. With Linda’s guidance, I have repaired my relationship with myself, food and exercise.

Through my journey, I have gained enough confidence and knowledge to not have to track my food. I don’t restrict anymore; I know what my body needs and I enjoy the foods I want without having guilt. I am in control.  Exercise is no longer a form of punishment for overeating; but rather something I am privileged to do and know I am setting myself up for a healthy second half of life.  The mental clarity I have gained through ERF is worth more than its weight in gold. I know when I transition away from coaching, I will always have someone I can lean on for support; but she has given me such an amazing foundation to stand on, I know I’ve got this! ERF is truly a family and I feel proud to be a part of it”

It is both a privilege and honor to be able to write a testimonial for Linda Christensen at Eric Roberts Fitness (ERF). I have been working with the amazing Coach Linda for almost 6 months.

For years before that, I struggled with emotional eating, yo-yo dieting, and finding a fitness program that works for me and my lifestyle, but with Linda and ERF, I have found my forever fitness “home”

Linda’s breadth of knowledge is impressive and her interpersonal skills top-notch; she has a fantastic sense of humor and has supported me and encouraged me to become the best version of myself – stronger and more confident than I have ever been in my life!

Linda is not only my online fitness and nutrition coach, she has also become my friend. She has a supportive and balanced approach that has helped me to create habits, attitudes and skills around living an overall healthier life amidst the craziness of raising a family and balancing a career.

If you want to improve your quality of life and create a stronger body in the process, I highly recommend working with Coach Linda at Eric Roberts Fitness. Your mind, body and soul will thank you!  -Kate D.””

Inches Lost – 13

Weight Lost – NONE! Body Recomp!

One main thing I was worried about before we began coaching together was definitely my confidence! I basically had very little confidence in all aspects of this journey!

My appearance, new exercises, execution & proper form, recording work outs, showing up to the gym in general- this was all a massive issue for me at this point! Essentially, I was super concerned that my lack of confidence would leave me with gym anxiety & cause me to flake out – as it had done many times in the past!

Three things that I have learnt & discovered about myself throughout this journey with coach Linda would for sure be my newfound confidence! Internally, physically & especially with trainings! Instead of dodging challenges, I now welcome them!

Another would be my mentality when approaching trainings. Before Linda, I would literally find any excuse to avoid the gym! Now, I’m intentionally going out of my way to train & would happily prioritize it because I’m loving what I do.

One last thing would be the importance of having a good amount of protein in your diet!! That stuff is literally FIRE & works more wonders than known!

I’ll forever be grateful for coach Linda & everything that this coaching journey has taught me, can’t wait to see how far we go! ❤️❤️

All I can say is…..WOW!  So happy that I signed up with Eric Roberts Fitness and started training with Linda!  The last 5 months have been amazing!

I started my fitness journey in August 2019, and was doing ok on my own….but really felt that I wasn’t training to my potential and wanted to take it to the next level.  These past 5 months with Linda have been the hardest, but also the most rewarding, days I have had in my training journey thus far!

I feel so much stronger and I am doing things I never imagined I would be doing at 50 years old!  I look and feel better now than when I was in my 20’s and 30’s and 40’s.

I can actually feel the strength in my muscles and I am pushing myself beyond what I thought was possible.

Linda is an incredible coach.  She gives me constant feedback and pep talks…but also knows when to push me when she feels I am holding back.  I have seen such a dramatic change in just a short amount of time…..I can’t wait to see what the next year holds!  I am going to take it to the limit and I know that Linda will help me get there!”

From a very young age, I struggled with body image issues. I felt unloveable and worthless. I wanted that feeling to go away, and I thought that a certain number on the scale would magically make everything better.  That led me down a never-ending rabbit hole of yo-yo dieting, all or nothing mentality, starving myself and then binging, throwing money at every lose weight quick scheme that ever existed…all to just end up defeated and heavier than when I started in the first place.

All of the noise (like carbs are bad, sugar is bad, you can’t eat this or that..) surrounding “dieting” was so loud that it kept me awake at night thinking that none of it was in my control, and that I was just destined to be unhealthy and overweight forever. I was afraid to eat anything!!! I felt really hopeless.

Then I stumbled upon Eric Roberts Fitness on tiktok. Everything he was saying made sense to me.  It wasn’t some gimmick or fad diet, it was pretty much just common sense! I reached out to him about 1:1 coaching and he got me in touch with Coach Linda Christensen, and my life will never be the same again.

For the first time in my life, I feel like my health and nutrition are in my control. I feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I’ve learned that no food is bad or off limits, I don’t have to do a ridiculous amount of HIIT cardio to lose weight, I don’t have to starve myself with a 1200 calorie budget, the scale is not the end all be all determination of my self worth, and lifting weights is freaking amazing and makes me feel like a BOSS!

Linda is an amazing coach, and an incredibly amazing human being, and I’m so grateful to her for everything she has done for me! I feel better in my body at 38 than I have in my entire life, and I now have the tools I need to reach any goal that I set out to achieve!”

LBS LOST – 40lbs +

“I’ve been working out with Linda for 5 months. SHE IS MEAN AS F*CK! LMAOOO (Kidding lol ) In that time I have probably sent her a dozen emails with just me whining and she takes it like a champ she is more of a therapist than my trainer most days haha! She knows what she is doing. You’ll love her, hate her and doubt her throughout your days but I promise you she KNOWS what you need to succeed!

If you need a gentle hand she’s got you, if you need someone to tell you to suck it up, she’s got you! Eat what she says, hit your steps, do the workouts and she will get you the results you want!

Additional testimony- I hated her the first month now I wouldn’t trade her for the world!”

Linda is the most amazing coach!

I’ve only worked with her for a few months, but my life is forever changed. Her positive attitude is contagious, and she’s always your number one cheerleader.

Her ability to help you see the payoff from the work you’re doing is a true gift. She has truly helped me change my habits and increase my quality of life.

Her workouts are always tailored to me and my goals. Linda’s knowledge and experience is vast, so she always has the ability to answer your questions and guide you on your health journey.

10/10 would recommend getting Linda into your life. “

Thank you for everything you have taught me in the last 8 months.

I have learned how to love food the right way, how to be okay with eating my carbs and eating my vegetables and protein and not worry about me gaining weight…

You have shown me how to have a better relationship with food and how important it is to help my health. I love how attentive you are with my goals and how you set my workouts according to what my targets are.

You have taught me the scale is not everything that I should be focusing on. My pictures my measurements the way my clothes fit, the way I feel….”

Steph C – 33 weeks pregnant and counting, healthy and strong

“I was really inspired to start this journey because I’m determined to teach my baby how to live a healthy lifestyle.
I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia and a craving to be smaller my whole life.  I’ve constantly dieted – so much so, that I’d become known for my diets at work.
I never want to pass along my insecurities around food, weight, or body shape to my baby. I’ve learned it’s all about feeling your best and that it doesn’t have to be overly complicated.
As someone who has tried it all, this was an amazing “ah-ha” moment for me. Being able to lift heavy makes me feel like a badass Momma.
I was worried about sharing my past history with you – the vulnerable side of me wanted to keep it hidden, but you’ve been absolutely amazing and so understanding.
I knew I was hoping to have kids in the near future when we started working together and I LOVED how you embraced that.  Plus, having been through it yourself made me feel so confident in you.  You’ve been the greatest cheerleader I could have asked for.
Three things I’ve learned:
1. Fad diets will never work.  Learning the basics will get you so much farther – how does the body truly work (calories, macros, lifting, etc.).  If people aren’t teaching you something as you work with them and it sounds too good to be true – it is!
2. Movement will make you feel your absolute best – whether that’s a walk, a strength workout, or yoga, moving your body goes such a long way.
3. Trying something new is powerful.  I never thought I would love certain exercises (looking at you deadlifts) until I tried and now I love them! This is something that applies outside the gym too.
Ask for what you need – you matter.”
“Working with Coach Linda is like finding a unicorn in a sea or horses. The level of confidence she gives you as a coach is outstanding. She is my biggest hype person, but she’s not afraid to tell you how it is, Thats what I needed in a coach. She talks to you like an actual human being and not as dollar signs.
When I hit my lowest of lows with my first shoulder surgery, she didn’t bail on me and tell me oh once recovered we can pick back up. She hopped on a one-on-one call with me, and we spent the next 45 min to an hour going over what I needed and what we could do to help me get through it. Then with this Second shoulder surgery she did the exact same thing.
I cannot thank her enough for sticking with me through it all and being the light in all the things I needed. When she says she’s there for you she really is I consider her more like family than a coach. She helped me loose 50 plus pounds and gain confidence in some of the exercises that I was scared to do.
Linda is like your boxing coach and will never leave your corner until you are ready. If you are on the fence to do one on one coaching full send it, what are you going to lose? I want to say thank you to Linda for being the person you are and please don’t change you are amazing, and I love you.”
