ERF 019: “All or Nothing” Mentality

“When I do something I’m all in or all out”.

Well, actually…. You’re not.

See the problem is, being “all in or all out”, is not a real thing.

Because think about, if you were all in, wouldn’t you do everything you could to get it done?

And I’m not saying be perfect, but no matter what find a way to make something happen.

See people who say they are all in or all out, are really just anticipating future fear.

Fear of failing. Fear of not seeing it through. Fear of getting out of their comfort zone.

And by saying they can be all in or all out, it creates a safety net for them to then, when they feel like quitting, being able to and not feeling bad.

They are making up justifications for things that haven’t even happened yet.

I strongly urge you to listen to this podcast.

I talk in depth about this, and give my thoughts on alternative ways of thinking around this mentality.

Let me know if you enjoyed it. And please leave a 5 star rating and review on the podcast. It helps me out a ton.

ERF 017: My Opinion On Effective Coaching

What makes coaching such an effective tool when reaching your fitness goals?

It’s not the workouts or the calorie amount a coach prescribes you.

It is taking that NEXT step, that makes you actually follow the workouts, or the diet.

It is taking the step to get the education on WHY decisions are being made.

Then being able to take that education and APPLY it to your life, so you can see results.

All while having someone to be accountable to during that whole process, which is not an easy or short process by the way.

Check out this weeks podcast to get my two cents on what makes a coaching program effective and worth it.

ERF 014: A Smarter Approach To Diets W/ Stan Efferding

Often times when dieting “fitness gurus” lead people down a road that is widely unsustainable, and downright unhealthy.

Depriving and Over Restricting is not the way to lose weight *and keep it off*.

This episode with Stan Efferding is something I am incredibly humbled and excited to bring to you guys.

Stan brings a whole new element to the game.

He preaches health first and foremost when starting anything fitness related.

He backs the Vertical Diet, the diet he created, with years and years of research and scientific studies.

He takes the “diet” term to a whole new level, creating a foundation that provides HEALTH first, then fat loss or muscle gain second.

But the health part never changes, because without that, nothing can work.

This podcast is PACKED with information, actionable tips, great stories, and a whole new way to view your diet.

There seriously is a lot of information, so might want to go back and re listen to certain parts. Stan does a great job of going in depth and provide the whole picture.

You are going to want to share this one with a friend when you are done.. and you’ll know why. Let me know what you think.

And don’t be afraid to leave a 5 star rating and review if you enjoyed it. Thanks. -E.
